As an independent consultant since 1994, Sue Kelley has worked with Milwaukee Area non-profit and governmental organizations to develop a plan -- around a new idea, a new program, a direction for the future. The process to get to this plan is participatory and structured. As the “glue person”, she keeps the process on track, ensuring that everyone involved knows her/his role and where the project stands. 

Most of Sue’s work has been in the older adult arena, with recent projects being in public health. Until the federal grant ended in 2020, Sue served as Project Manager for the Alzheimer's Association's Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Project, coordinating dementia education training for healthcare providers.  From 2008 until October 2019, Sue served as the Facilitator of the Shorewood Connects, a community organizing initiative to promote age-friendliness in Shorewood, WI.   This work resulted in two national/state recognition awards for Shorewood: a "Best Intergenerational Community" designation by Generations United in 2014, and the first community in Wisconsin to be admitted into AARP's Age-Friendly Communities Network in 2017.
